On the south-west corner of the Australian continent,
with the Indian Ocean to the West, and the vast
Australian desert to the East, lies Perth, one
of the most remote cities in the world.
The City of Perth is focused on the central
business district and surrounding inner city
residential areas. Nestled in a picturesque
natural amphitheatre, bordered by Kings Park
botanical gardens and the beautiful Swan River,
visitors find the city to be clean, well laid
out and easy to get around.
Perth has a multicultural community which has
developed a wide variety of cultural activities,
restaurants, food suppliers and places of religious
worship
The climate is ideal - summers are hot and
dry with an average temperature of 25-30 degrees
C and the winters are cool.
