Situated 2300 km north-west of Perth,

to construct a Detention/Processing facility center on the island

The Asia Pacific Space Center (APSC)
is progressing with construction of a satellite launch facility
on the South Point of the island (ca. 20 km from settlement). Estimated

launch is set to be 2004.
